WISHING ALL OUR SUPPORTERS A BEAUTIFUL FESTIVE SEASON HOLIDAY

Greeting and love from Bwengula family! We are so blessed to have you in our lives and we really can’t imagine life without you our lovely fans and supporters.

It has all been a hustle to everyone during this pandemic, but we are happy that most of you stood by us and kept donating for the best of our children. The children are well and warming up for the festive season programs, dancing, playing games and spending some good time as a family.

We are happy that David Berkes one of our founders from Hungary (currently residing in Switzerland) visited us and got united again with the children and the other leaders of the project. We shared some amazing time, he prepared dinner which was very enjoyable and everyone was awaiting to try this type of dish originally from Hungary. However one of the problems our center is facing is floods during the rainy season.

Video of Floods at Bwengula Arts Academy

It floods a lot and everything get destroyed by water including the household materials. Lungujja , Kosovo is a very swampy area which requires houses built on high platforms, but unfortunately our center is on a low land which is mostly affordable for the poor. Our big dream is to buy a land to construct our own warehouse for the center, where we can easily put our materials safe and also build hostels for girl and boy children. We are currently serving a number of over 70 children. You all can imagine how much needs we have to provide for all of them. But with one another’s support we are able to manage that. We encourage you to share our website link or gofundme page to your friends who are interested in donating to bring a change and save a life.

On December 1st it is giving Tuesday! We are collecting donations to serve the children with good meals in the festive season. Every donation no matter which amount is counted as a big gift to us!

Let’s make a change together. Invite friends to become sponsors for our project. Love awaits you all. We are wishing you a happy holiday!

SECOND LOCKDOWN IN UGANDA 😥😓

Hello Fam! Today We are sharing with you some of the cool tricks from our kids on a tumbling day. Since the second breakout of the pandemic and the current full lockdown most of our kids have no chance to train and home trainings are also limited by space to some of our kids living at the hostels.

🤸Our dream is to find a big & safe place out of the city for our kids
➡️to live together as a one family
➡️to carry on farming, growing crops for home use to support our selves
➡️ for study purposes to some of the kids who are having dreams of becoming farmers & veterinary Doctors

💝 BECOME PART OF THIS CHANGE and please support our goal via the link in bio to make this happen🙏

Updates of how the children are doing in this Covid19 lockdown

Hello our beautiful people and sponsors, we are grateful for your continued love and support towards the children of bwengula during these hard times of Covid19 , we thank you for staying close even during these hard times. The number of children is increasing day by day since many of the children in the community are starving with the luck of food because their parents are unemployed during this time so we got responsibility for many of our children but your help has soften the living and we hope to keep stretching our hands to even more other vulnerable children.

Thank you so much for the kind and lovely heart Amara.

We had Some of the parents visited our center.

It was such a beautiful thing to have some of the parents of children visited our center to know more about the project and to tell us everything about their lives in and out home during this quarantine , it’s sad that most of the parents especially men ignore their responsibilities for children at home, Most of them run away from their families hence leaving the mothers to cater and do everything just alone yet they’re also not financially stable hence leading to many young children face hustle life and end up living on streets to find what to eat.

Most of the children become drug addicted because they luck parental love and care simply beacause singled parents who are jobless can’t do reach the children’s needs.

Some of the problems I got to know with our treasurer with whom we had a chance to talk to these parents , it was that their husbands left them in the house with one of the parents 0f 6 children and the other with 3 children.

The children have no education because the mothers aren’t working and also the quarantine is also another problem for them since none of them can work during this period. So they they wanted to thank our project and to also tell us about how the children’s lives are changing with the help of @bwengula arts academy.

We think of bringing a very big change in our community but without the support of every one it might be a hard step to take so we all need your hands to push us as afar as we want to reach our goals.

This is beautiful project which later after the corona disease will be fully registered as a Non governmental Organisation after all the offices open and start their work. We sofar received the first Certificate of registration from the government before the corona broke up so we think in the near future everything will work out smoothly .

We shall establish small local businesses for these parents to also have a chance to work and give back to the children of the communities as a sign of support to each other and with this our projects will grow and reach many lives of people for a social change.

Stay tunned and please keep your daily support towards us our lovely and dear sponsors . Our love for you is too much.

Lots of greetings from bwengula board members Team and the members Team

You can have a chance to watch one of the children’s creativity. Thanks
